Finding safe blogs for kids is crucial.

We all know that there are many scammers out there and recently many of these people have moved online.

Taking care of your kids internet security is essential for their well being, safety and will result in finding appropriate educational blogs for kids.

So, how do you find safe blogs for kids?

Kids love to chat and chatting online through websites is fun. But, it can be dangerous because children often do not easily recognize scams. One of the first things to look for when trying to find safe blogs for kids is what kind of personal information the site requires in order for children to participate. It does not make a difference if your child is writing his or her own blog or posting to someone else’s site. Either way – no personal information should be revealed on any type of blogs.

This is the first and most important advice for evaluating whether a site is one of the many safe blogs for kids that you would allow your child to engage in.

There are several online resources such as Kids Learn to Blog that provide valuable tips about the best educational blogs for kids. FBFKids is an example of one of the popular safe blogs where there is an emphasis on safe blogging for kids under 13. Tikatok is another option if your child is especially interested in writing and creating books. These free blogging sites for kids allow children to chat and develop their writing skills, but also have strict safety requirements and restrictions. Zooblogs is another safe resource, where children learn about online writing and publishing. It allows parents to control their child’s online activities and blogging.

Another essential safety rule for children being online in a safe and secure way is to address the differences between having a personal diary and an online diary. Your child might already have a personal diary which they may not want you to read. But this should not be the case with an online diary or blogging. You must make it clear to your child and let him or her know that you are going to have the access to their blogging accounts and will check their writing from time to time.

In summary it is very important to remember that when we talk about blogging that we keep in mind children are more easily persuaded to share their private information and feelings or to visit doubtful sites. Or to even meet with doubtful people offline! So, make sure to take all the precautions you can to find safe websites for your child to visit or to post on.
