The word blog is a short form of the term “web log”. It is the name given to any type of website which is usually maintained by an individual or a group of individuals. The website contains regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or any other material such as videos and so. Entries are generally displayed in a reverse-chronological order.

Blogging has sparked a revolution in every field of modern technology. It has entered various fields and is obtaining increasing importance day by day. Using this powerful tool of Internet for the purpose of education is known as blog on education.

Teachers in educational institutions get the opportunity to supervise what their students are learning; they might provide views on many subjects. This process of education through supervision by a teacher is sometimes called schooling and is not always effective, as students may be reluctant to listen to teachers. Using blog on education children can interact with each other without anybody’s interference.

is a newly evolved educational tool which is gaining rapid popularity. It has and can create a healthy competitive environment of learning online irrespective of any religious or political barriers. Blog on education gives the pupils a unique opportunity to improve their working style. It is even good for teachers as the entire process can be recorded in an easy to read text format. They get to know the comments and the views of the students and how these comments are received by the original writer of the blog on education. Students get the freedom to express themselves without any fear.

Students can use a blog as a place for writing whatever they wish to. They can visit the blogs that their peers have written to discuss issues that come up in classes. Blog on education have the potential to give them a format to continue discussions about their subjects, while they also sharpen their writing skills through practice, criticism and observation.
