Students, Be Careful What You Blog!

Students Be Careful What You Blog

Elementary students and high school students are fond of making their own blogs ever since it started.  It is similar to the traditional diary where they can write about certain topics, events that have happened in their lives.

Students also post on their blogs, things that they want people to know because as we all know, students tend to speak their thoughts no matter what. They also post on their blog accounts things that they have learned in school.

Blog About Unforgettable Experiences

Their unforgettable experiences usually are the highlight of  student blogs.  Some students have a blog for academic purposes where they post their assignments, which were given by their teachers, who also have blogs and just link their blog to their students.

By blogging, students can also embed videos that they like, music they love and pictures of unforgettable moments. Through blogging, they can also comment on their classmates’ blog.  Also,  students can have their peers review their blogs.

Be Careful What You Blog

Students tend to over use their blog and post negative things.  Some  students post things that are not all that interesting and some are even into posting blogs against somebody or worse, against their school, their friends and even of themselves. They make their post looks like a confession about their wrongful acts.

Like the one that I watched on television about a student who posted blog entries on his blog confessing that he already killed an animal and according to him, he enjoyed doing it.  Many people who read that blog notified the authorities, who were angry about the wrongful act that the student did and posted to his blog.

Another sour experience is when high school students posted to their blog, a few wrongful accusations against their principal of their school, saying that he had performed those very acts and the worse was that, they even posted obscene words against their principal.  This held them liable to what they had done.

Use Your Blog Correctly

Blogging is fun and is an outlet for students, but they must use their blogs correctly and learn a thing or two from it.  Rather than use it in a way that will hurt others.  It is best that they use their blog accounts for their academics and some wonderful experiences and reflections rather than posting blogs that will ruin their future.
