How to get kids to comment on blog

These days kids visit a lot of blogs including other kid’s blog. Kids can be the best critics. If we get them to comment on a blog, it will not be bias or based on any link building process. Instead, it will be an unbiased review of whatever is written in the blog.

Bu the main question is how to make kids comment on blogs. For this there are various steps that can be taken. First of which includes making kids visit various blogs.

Design a blog in such a way that it attracts kids and they will visit often. If they do then after few visits they will share their opinion on the blog.  For this they will use the comment box.

To design a blog in an attractive manner there are few things that can be done.

  • Make the heading catchy. Sometimes controversial headings also attract a good amount of visitors including kids.  However don’t only focus on heading (that’s what bloggers mainly do.) In fact the ending is also important if one wants to get a good amount of comments. The end lines should be interesting enough to tempt the visitor to give his/her views. That’s where you make your interaction with the reader. If the reader likes the ending he/she will surely make an effort to at least write “good post” in the comment box. Adding a few questions at the end of the post or adding a small quiz is a good way to interact with the visitor.
  • Always ask for an opinion at the end of the post that makes the visitor remember that he/she has to give a comment for the post. When you don’t ask to comment generally readers will not bother to do so. When kids visit a blog they tend to find something of interest and for this kids would prefer some interacting features like paint option, puzzles, quizzes, etc. You can also add a few debate topics for kids to discuss.
  • When a kid leaves a comment make sure that you reply back. This will encourage them to leave more comments. They will like it if they can get someone to interact with them and they will keep commenting on your blog thereby becoming a regular visitor to your blog. Make sure that you are humble in your replies. Anything rude or hard can make the kid wary of your blog.
