Choosing the Best Kids WordPress Theme to Create a Fun Blog

WordPress is a blogging platform that also offers kids WordPress theme options. This is especially good news for those young bloggers out there that are trying to express themselves (with a little help from their parents).

This article looks at some of the recommendations from Kids Learn to Blog of the more popular options when it comes to choosing a kids WordPress theme.

Playtime Imagination

One of the more popular ones in recent times has been Playtime Imagination. This theme perfectly encapsulates the need to allow kids to feel they are blogging with a theme that is fun and aimed at their age range. It is a three-column theme with a sidebar and is a great starting point for any young person who wants to enter the exciting world of blogging.

Little United Nations

Little United Nations is another option if you are thinking of finding a kids WordPress theme for your child. This is a perfectly set up little theme that fixes on the idea of international cooperation and expression, with a particularly pleasing look for a young person. Definitely worth checking out if you want your child to start blogging.

Happy Child

One of our favorites is Happy Child. This is probably the simplest template you will find anywhere on the Internet, whether it is for children or not. But it works so well because the image right at the top of the theme is so perfectly drawn, and so perfectly matches the needs of a simple kid’s blog that it couldn’t be done any better. This is a really good and simple starting kids WordPress theme, and we reckon that it will be hard to find anything simpler to set up.

Happy Child is a soft and gentle theme that means it is not threatening or provoking in any way for a child who just wants to get their thoughts down on a Web page. Easy to set up and even easier to manage, this theme is a simple and delicate little bonus for anyone who wants their kid to blog.

Ocean Kid

Another simple theme is Ocean Kid, which is clearly drawn, and fun enough for any child to want to use it for their blogging purposes. This one really speaks to children who are young enough to enjoy fun images and gentle humor. A good all round theme, and a great kids WordPress theme overall.

If you are thinking of helping your child to blog, consider these free WordPress themes. Make sure you supervise and help them get started, and be involved in their blogging as much as you can.

So what’s stopping you from creating a fabulous blog?
